The dish that your friends won’t forget after the game is over.
4 Salmon fillets (6 oz each)
Tablespoon olive oil
1 Tablespoons brown sugar, packed
2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce (low salt)
2 Tablespoons dry white wine
2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon fresh ginger root (or ¼ tsp ground)
2 teaspoons of PITTSBURGH’S Original Sports SauceTM
(If you’re not a fan of ginger, just use a sprinkle of ground ginger, or none at all)
Combine the above ingredients and cook over medium heat till it comes to a
boil. Then take your sauce off the stove, and it’s ready to drizzle over your
grilled, or baked salmon. You can also baste your salmon while grilling with
this sauce, or place some in the bottom of your baking pan, if roasting your
salmon. This sauce is also great over rice, couscous, and glass noodles.
A fun addition to your menu with lots of spirit!
1 package (16 ounces) jumbo pasta shells
(Don’t you think the shells resemble footballs?)
4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
1/2 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
1 cup coarsely chopped cooked chicken
1 cup coarsely chopped tomato
3/4cup coarsely chopped cucumber
1/3 cup diced radishes
1/3 cup roasted garlic Italian vinaigrette
1 Tablespoon of PITTSBURGH’S Original Sports SauceTM
Cook pasta shells as directed on package; Drain and cool. Be careful not to overcook the pasta shells.
Place the remaining ingredients except vinaigrette in a medium bowl. Now pour vinaigrette over the salad; toss to coat. Stuff shells with the salad.
You can personalize your salad by substituting the romaine lettuce for spincach, or adding diced avocado, your favorite cheese, or any other ingredient….or how about filling the shells with sauteed hot sausage….the list is endless!
